  • Condition: This is a vintage Mallory dual point distributor for Small and Big Block Chevy engines. The Mallory part number is 2548201 as shown. These distributors were popular in the 60's-early 70's and were commonly seen on muscle cars, hot rods, boats, and other high performance applications. This is an awesome true "Day 2" part that will make your underhood look more period correct. This distributor is in good original condition as shown. It is complete less the rotor as shown including the points, drive gear, etc. It also has a nice original cap. The only piece I see missing is the rotor. The shaft spins smoothly with no sticking or binding and is not sloppy. This is a very nice vintage dual point distributor.

    This is a vintage Mallory dual point distributor for Small and Big Block Chevy engines. The Mallory part number is 2548201 as shown.  These distributors were popular in the 60's-early 70's and were commonly seen on muscle cars, hot rods, boats, and other high performance applications. This is an awesome true "Day 2" part that will make your underhood look more period correct. This distributor is in good original condition as shown. It is complete less the rotor as shown including the points, drive gear, etc. It also has a nice original cap. The only piece I see missing is the rotor which you would likely be replacing anyway since it is a tune up part. . The shaft spins smoothly with no sticking or binding and is not sloppy. This is a very nice vintage dual point distributor.
