    Description

    For your Smallblock Mopar: High-RPM
    Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit
    Stock Appearance!
7500 RPM certified! OEM Chrysler distributor specs!
Here's a hi-performance hot-spark hi-rev-capable (min. 7500 RPM certified) electronic ignition conversion kit for all
    273, 318, 340 and 360
Mopars, A (poly) and LA. Great for dumping you unreliable breaker point system, or trashing Lean burn systems. Also useful for converting 92/93-up 5.2 and 5.9L Magnums to carburetion.
    Here's what you get:
    > An OEM-spec distributor with a street-performance advance curve, complete with a NOS Genuine Mopar (Made in USA
    Tan
Alkyd cap), adjustable vacuum advance. Uses all stock OEM tune-up parts. IMPORTANT: real "Heavy weight" Mopar/Chrysler design --
    no spark scatter.
Not the Accel "guts" (downsized GM HEI crap design) that were used in MP distributors from 2000 - 2013 and caused no end of problems.
    > A hi-po 7500-RPM certified ECU, made by an original Mopar / Chrysler vendor, but with latest super-reliable all-silicon SMD technology. Comparable to the MP "chrome box", better than "orange box", yet it looks very similar to the OEM stock unit, for that "stealth" appearance!
    > A genuine Mopar (Made in USA) wiring harness kit with all hardware
    > A correct OEM-specification
    steel strap ballast resistor
    > Detailed, easy-to-follow instruction booklet
    with tuning tips!
    Advance
    curve specs for geeks:
I had it made as a duplicate of the 1969 340 Hi-Po hi-po non-emissions specs, true 2-stage springs, a true street performance curve:
Less than 4 deg. mechanical adv. below 600 RPM (for cranking)
approx. 16 deg. at 900 (fast idle)
Approx 22 deg. at 200 (Power!)
Vacuum: near-zero at 5" vac, then 14-18 deg @ 15" (fuel economy / no oil dilution)
For most apps you'd want to run initial (base) timing at approx 10-12 deg. BTDC
Feel free, of course, to rework the advance curve to fit special applications (crazy hot cam, etc.)
Note that these numbers are all
    crankshaft degrees
    .
