How the Cel-Fi GO X works
The Cel-Fi GO X is the most technologically advanced cellular amplifier in its class in both power, performance, and features. The WAVE app available on the iOS App Store or Google Play is used to easily select your carrier and view performance information. A different carrier may be selected at anytime if you happen to change your cellular carrier.
When the indoor and outdoor antenna are connected, you turn on the GO X and select your carrier using the Wave app. At this time if there is a new version of of software, it is loaded automatically. Powerful Signal will be happy to configure your GO X prior to shipment. Contact us if you would like to have us perform this task for you.
After the cellular amplifier is turned on and the carrier is selected, the GO X analyses your carrier's signal from all the available cell towers. The highest quality signal is selected for used. This feature is unique to Cel-Fi and is what makes this amplifier stand out in performance. If for some reason, the carriers towers or signals change, the GO X will re-analyse the carrier signal and re-select the best signal options. This is all done automatically.

How much area will the Cel-Fi GO X cover?
This system comes with one dome antenna that broadcasts improved cellular signal.
With strong outside cell signal
(−80 dBm or greater),
you can typically cover up to 10,000 square feet of indoor building space
. The size of the coverage area depends on many factors, including:
Outside cell signal strength
received by the donor antenna.
Inside building materials.
(Cellular frequencies pass through wood framing and drywall more easily than through steel and concrete.)
Cellular frequencies used by the carrier and the device.
(Lower-freqency LTE and 800 MHz signals travel farther than higher-frequency AWS and PCS signals.)
Substandard or inadequate conditions in any of these factors will reduce your coverage area.
