Background
Up for sale is my 2016 AWD 2.0L Turbocharged 6 Speed Manual Golf R that I've owned since mile 15 - I've been the only owner of this car. This car is 100% stock and has NEVER had any modifications other than the VW emblem being changed to black on the front and back and window tint. Having only 1 owner of a car is pretty rare and buying used from a dealer or a car that's been owned by multiple owners never gives the buyer any assurance of what has been done to it - I know everything that has been done to the car including maintenance from Day 1. Will be sad to see this car go. The specs list this car at 31 MPG on highway but I often get well over 35 on average. Most of the miles on this car are highway, driving to and from work.
There is a reason I am the only owner of this car - I love this car so much as it is extremely dependable and has always been reliable for me. I only drive it to and from work - so most of the miles are highway driven. I have premium 3M Cystalline Series window tint all the way around on this car, including a 100% film layer on the front windshield which does block most UV rays and makes the car much cooler inside and helps keep the leather and materials inside well maintained.
The R is one of the highest rated cars on the market at 4.9/5 on most rating agencies - bar none, the best and SAFEST car I've ever driven - I will definitely miss this car.
Drives excellently! Clean title! Only minor wear and tear scratches - see photos of scratches circled in red.
Apple CarPlay, 2 sets of keys, jackstand, and Roadside Driver Kit included. New Premium Continental Sport Tires with plenty of tread left (see pictures). Excellent transmission and mechanical condition.
I've performed all regular scheduled maintenance on this Golf R - including changing engine oil at scheduled intervals, changing all transmission and clutch fluids (even though Volkswagen doesn't require it for manual transmissions), spark plugs, oil and air filters, brakes and brake fluid, and recently changed Premium Continental Sport Tires w/ plenty of tread left (see photo).
The only thing you may see on the AutoCheck is when another car idled into me at a stop light -
the damage was purely cosmetic and was only 1 - I only needed to replace my rear bumper cover -
I have proof of this with a full estimate and summary of the event from USAA (my insurance provider), including a photo of the rear bumper cover that was replaced if you want to verify. My point is that the damage was only cosmetic and the bumper cover was the only thing that needed to be replaced. This is additionally confirmed by the fact AutoCheck shows this event as a "minor issue" but let me know and I can provide you full documents from USAA.
