I recently acquired a number of parts that came with a 1969 Z28 that was purchased out of an estate. The car had been stored since the late 70s/early 80's and had a bunch of NOS parts stored with it that were meant for the build. The guy who bought the Camaro out of the estate was putting a LS engine in the car and was not concerned with originality. I bought the engine, transmission, and other parts from him and plan to list them here on Ebay. This is an original Delco Remy distributor that is specific to the 1969 Camaro with the Z/28 option. The part number is 1111480 as shown. The date code is 9D2 which decodes as the 2nd week of April, 1969. This distributor has been in cool, dry storage since 1980 and is a true survivor. I made no attempt to clean or restore this distributor since the patina shows this is an authentic piece. The amount of fraudulent parts in circulation today is mind boggling. Rest assured, this is an original GM part that was installed in a 69 Z/28 on the assembly line. This is the REAL DEAL.
This distributor is in very good survivor condition as shown. It spins freely with no binding or sloppiness. The advance cam is stamped 532 CCW as shown. The vacuum advance is stamped MS 201 15 and functions as it should when vacuum is applied. This is the distributor you have been waiting for. Don't miss it!
